Servicemembers' Civil Relief Act
fomerly known as
(Soldiers and Sailors Civil Relief Act)
On December 19, 2003, President George W. Bush signed bill HR 100 for the Servicemembers' Civil Relief Act formerly known as the Soldiers and Sailors Civil Relief Act into law. The veteran is required to sign a military affidavit or non-military affidavit before you proceed with this action. If you're a reserve component service member called to active duty, you're protected by law under this relief act.
